My journey to wealth management was about as unconventional as you could imagine. Born in London, I lived in Istanbul, Seattle, and my mother’s native Cape Town before the age of ten and have called Ventura County home for most of my life since. I enjoy being close to our beaches, mountains and cities alike, however my first love was basketball – spending most of my youth playing in tournaments and learning the value of being part of a culture that prides itself on a greater mission. After studying Business and Sociology at Cal State Channel Islands, I have built skillsets and grown working relationships in the service and automotive industries over the past decade.
I have always had a passion for personal finance, whether it was gamifying ways to increase my credit score, learning about different investment vehicles, or simply realizing the importance of maintaining an emergency fund. Pursuing this interest in my personal time, I noticed I was as excited by the idea of helping others plan for their futures as I was about managing my own portfolio, and I eventually found my way to financial planning. While most of my friends were settling into their established careers, I found myself pursuing a new one. I see this as my true calling and at the heart of it all, I genuinely want to help people build useful plans of their own. I aspire to be a guide, a confidant, and a helping hand through the nuance of everyday wealth management.

I would buy a modest home, fund a family trip back to South Africa, and invest the rest.

With my amazing partner (Francesca) either enjoying a lovely meal, finding local music or binge watching a new TV show.
